Somuart means cleaning.

The name is Khmer for “cleaning”, carried over from Yoshikazu’s family cleaning business. Fascia work, he says, cleans the body up from the inside.

As a young volunteer in Cambodia he met his wife, a foot reflexology practitioner. Through her he came to feel how precious it is to ease someone’s body, and he took up this path.

After years of cleaning, his hands could tell how much wax was on a floor by touch alone. He wants that same feeling in seitai, the moment his hands simply know.

Before opening, he gave free sessions to more than 200 friends and acquaintances. Today, whole families come to him, from children to grandmothers.

Why Tadahiro Koto recommends Yoshikazu

Where does that warmth come from? I wonder about it every month when I see him.

He lived abroad for many years, and I think the values and people he met there are the foundation of who he is today.

He has run a family cleaning business alongside seitai. They look like different jobs, but the care and steady accumulation in both show up in his hands.

He comes to Osaka every month to learn, and to Tokyo when he needs to. Back home, the referrals never stop. Warm, with a firm core.
